Finally the names of the winners of the RF President Grant are known! As compared to the last year, when five young scientists of the IHTE UB RAS were awarded by the grands, in 2016 out of 16 applications one our colleague, junior researcher Ilyina Evgueniya Alekseevna was awarded. This year the requirements were much stricter. All in all there were 2907 applications and only 416 quotas.
Evgueniya presented an interesting project: “Composite solid Li-La zirconate based electrolytes for modern current sources of high power capacity”. The winner said that the work is not finished and properties of one of the perspective solid electrolytes for a totally solid phase Li current sources will be improved by addition of different glasses. One or two most appropriate compositions of the composite solid electrolyte will be chosen at the final stage. This project is going to find a practical implementation.
