Recently, the names of the winners of the competition for the scholarship of the Sverdlovsk region Governor for students for the 2017/18 school year became known.
Obligatory criteria for participation were the absence of academic debt and excellent marks after intermediate certification during the academic year preceding the appointment of the scholarship, as well as compliance with one or more of the following criteria:
- the presence in the studies of achievements confirmed by diplomas (other documents) of winners and (or) prize-winners of international, all-Russian, regional olympiads, championships, competitions and other similar events;
- participation in international, all-Russian and regional conferences, forums, festivals and other similar events;
- participation in the experimental activity of educational organizations in the framework of research and (or) developmental work;
- the presence of the studies presented in the research projects, printed works;
- presence of the implemented scientific developments in practical activities, confirmed by copyright certificates, acts of implementation, patents for invention.
This year, 223 students and graduate students of Ural universities, colleges and technical schools became laureates of the Governor’s scholarship. Among them there are postgraduates of the IHTE UB RAS: Evgeniy Tropin, Nailya Sayetova and Andrei Farlenkov. It is worth noting that Andrei was awarded the Governor’s scholarship for the 2 nd time in a row!
