On May 16, the traditional annual IHTE UB RAS competition of scientific works of masters, post-graduate students and young researchers was held. In total, 17 people took part in this contest.
The main criteria for participant work evaluation by the competition commitee were actuality, novelty, originality, completeness and author’s contribution.
For the second year in a row the first place won the Eugene Tropin with scientific research work “Oxygen exchange kinetics and defective surface structure of La2-ХСaХNiO4±δ“. The second place went to Nailya Saetova, and the third – to Anna Hodimchuk, who are also involved in research in the field of solid electrolytes.
The deputy director for scientific work V.P. Stepanov summed up and announced the results of the competition. He thanked the contestants for their participation and noted that their works are of scientific interest. He also proposed to introduce one more criterion for evaluation – the effectiveness of research work, implying the article publication in the peer-reviewed journal or patent registration.
