From 20 to 24 November 2016 in Moscow was held the Scientific Conference of Russian Science Foundation grantees on Chemistry organized by Institute of Organic Chemistry named after N. Zelinskyand supported by RSF. It was the first multidisciplinary scientific conference aimed at the development of cooperation between research groupsand popularization of investigation results. Scientists had an opportunity not only to appreciate the quality of their research but to findnew contacts and partners for future research. The conference was attended by approximately three hundred fifty researchers. 154 oralreportsand 190 posters were presented.
The Chairman of the Program Committee the Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Sciences V.P. Ananikov stressed that the only one VIP persona at this Conference was the Science, namely chemical science.
Within the framework of event the educational mini-courses on actual research directions for the conference participants were presented, for example, scientists had an opportunity to explore their samples on the latest electron microscope.
IHTE UB RAS at the Conference was represented by two scientific groups,“The Fundamentals of electrochemical synthesis of new electrode materials base on silicon” (supervised by Yu. P. Zaikov) and “The development of scientific bases and creation of new highly-effective proton-conductive membranesand electrode materials for electrochemical applications in hydrogen and renewable power engineering”(supervised by M. V. Ananyev). Their leaders and members have demonstrated the results of its projects both by oral reports and by postal session.
