Specialists of the IHTE UB RAS, including the Academic Secretary of Institute, took an active part in conference devoted to issues of legal protection and use of intellectual activity results held in technopark “University” on November 17. The conference was organized by Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) in cooperation with Ural Federal University and “University” Technopark of high technologies is Sverdlovsk region. The conference was attended by approximately 80 experts in the field of patent work and innovation activity of enterprises, universities and small innovative companies of the Sverdlovsk region.
The experts from the FIPS in their presentations raised issues of state registration of applications for invention and utility model, protection of intellectual property in the sphere of design, paperwork and the risks of trademark and industrial design registration, as well as filling of applications for registration computer programs, databases and topographies of integral circuits.
D.B. Shulgin and A.D. Egarmina, the professionals from UrFU, told about the peculiarities of competitive technological exploration and experience of University in carrying out patent investigations during research and development work.
