In October 2015, the delegation of the IHTE UB RAS has visited People’s Republic of China. Within the frames of Second Russian-Chinese EXPO in Harbin a number of meetings were arranged in order to consolidate collaboration of scientific, educational and industrial organizations of two countries. The Institute employees took part in the Russian-Chinese Forum on engineering collaboration and Russian-Chinese conference of technical exchange on novel materials at higher level. The delegates of several institutes of Russian Academy of Sciences, engineering centers of leading Russian universities, Chinese scientific organizations have presented their reports regarding novel achievements in the field of material science. The IHTE UB RAS director Yu.P.Zaikov has declared his report “Novel achievements of IHTE UB RAS in the field of material science”. The delegation of IHTE also has visited the department of composite materials of Harbin’s petrochemical synthesis department of the Heilongjiang Academy of Sciences. During negotiations it was decided to make a return visit to the IHTE UB RAS in 2016. Perspectives of joint collaboration will be discussed in the future.
