The offsite meeting of the corrosion protection experts from Gazprom group and the anti-corrosive protection equipment manufacturers have been held in Ekaterinburg from 26th till 28th of November 2013. 50 delegates from such big companies as “Gazprom”, “Gazprom Transgaz Ekaterinburg”, “TVEL” Rusatom fuel company, “Plant of electrochemical converters”, IHTE UB RAS, “UralIntekh”, “PARSEK”, “Khimservis”, “Plant of gas equipment NC”, “ NPO Neftegazkompleks EHZ” have participated at the meeting.
During the meeting the key questions in the field of the innovative corrosion protection systems implemented at the Gazprom enterprises, modern requirements to the anti-corrosive protection systems for main gas line exploitation as well as conceptual model and architecture for corrosion monitoring system have been discussed. The issues concerning electrochemical protection role in the efficiency improvement of the anti-corrosive protection system have been also considered.
The meeting demonstrated the researching possibilities of IHTE. During negotiations several agreements regarding mutual cooperation in the field of the ECG-SOFC application as a autonomous power sources for the pipeline stations with cathode protection, in the distributive energetic, and energy supply for different objects in the remote regions were made.
