An enhanced joint retreat of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences with participation of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Section of Chemistry and Material Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences and “SIBUR” Ltd dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Mendeleev’s Periodic Table was held in Tobolsk on 3-4 September 2019.
The working meeting on the collaboration between “SIBUR” Ltd and the Russian Academy of Sciences took place on the 3rd of September. Ural Siberian and Moscow scientists demonstrated their research and development. Scientific adviser of IHTE UB RAS Yury Zaykov (DSc (Chemistry) presented the innovation technologies developed at the Institute, special attention was devoted to technologies for protection of materials from corrosion by high temperature galvanoplastics, which might be implemented on the largest in Russian petrochemical complex.
