On the 2nd of June of 2019 workers of the Institute of High-Temperature Electrochemistry celebrated the Day of the Worker of the Chemical Industry. In 2019 it is officially celebrated for the 39th time. The Day of the Worker of the Chemical Industry appeared in 1960 and became official in 1980th according to the Order of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
It is traditionally celebrated at the leisure center near the Shartash lake. This holiday is always celebrated together with friends-colleagues and close relatives. Tasty barbeque, classical music, interesting stories, games and walks along the lakeside are some of the traditions of the Day of the Worker of the Chemical Industry in IHTE.
