The Institute of High-Temperature Electrochemistry of the UB RAS is one of the partners of the Inenergy group of companies, which is implementing a project dedicated to creation of an electrochemical generator of the new generation Topaz, recently presented to Russian President V.V. Putin. This compact device allows converting hydrocarbon fuels, such as propane or butane, into electricity with high efficiency.
