We invite you  to take part in the joint project of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Central Avenue gallery, which is called  the “Science in simple terms”.

At the Central avenue venues, speakers of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences will read popular science lectures on current topics of interest to a wide range of listeners. “Science in simple terms” is fascinating, relevant and accessible to a wide audience.
 On March 23 at 13.00, a lecture will be held on “The Riddles of Modern Nanotechnology” (Yekaterinburg, Lenin Avenue, Building 8)
During this lecture,  at the popular level it will be explained why mankind cannot avoid the development of nanotechnology and how they can be used in modern electronics, computer science, aircraft manufacturing and medicine.  Not only the generally accepted ideas about nanotechnology will be presented, but also special attention to riddles and errors in this area will be paid in details.
The lecture is based on the experimental and theoretical experience of the lecturer – Rempel Andrei Andreyevich, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It will be useful for a wide audience.
